8/31/09 -- Sage Karam New Castle Motorsports Park Report Written By: Sage Karam Racing New Castle, IN - (August 31st, 2009) -- Sage Karam captured three more podiums this weekend in the World Karting Association’s National at New Castle, Indiana. Sage earned podiums in eleven (11) out of twelve (12) events this year. The consistency has been a result of a total team effort. “I’d like to thank Chris (Lobaugh) and Zach (Beard) of MRP for giving me a chassis that was dead on for all the features. Kevin (Nelson) of Swith Engines continues to supply the best engines you can get. I made a couple of errors that cost us some wins. I feel bad we didn’t get the wins, but our performance was really good”. Sage got two 2nd places and a 4th place finish. The Junior field was the most competitive it’s been all year. Drivers from California to Florida converged in New Castle to compete. “This was the deepest field I’ve ever seen. It’s obvious the WKA Nationals is amongst the best and most competitive series out there. I look forward to seeing all the same competitors at Charlotte in November”, said Sage. Sage’s father, Jody, addressed the event as well: “I think the WKA is doing a great job and the proof is in the amount of entries and level of competition. There are some issues with teams, competitors and parents testing the level of integrity enforcement within the WKA. I am impressed with the direction the WKA will be going to Charlotte, as it was explained to me. The WKA has always treated us fairly and has committed to maintaining a safe and level playing field. I look forward to Sage competing in the WKA”. Investing in Sage is easy and exciting.
