5/21/08 - Sage to be the Honorary Guest of Andretti/Green Racing Indy 500 Party in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - (May 21st, 2008) -- Sage will be the honorary guest of IRL team owner, Michael Andretti, of AGR, at this weekend’s AGR Indy 500 party. The gala will take place Saturday night featuring all of the AGR drivers and owners. This year’s band to perform has not been announced, but, last year Smash Mouth put on an amazing performance.

Sage’s weekend will start with an autograph signing session at the Stars of Karting’s display booth, located in the Fan Zone at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 11:00 – noon. Following the appearance, Sage will jet over to the New Castle Motorsports facility to get in some JICA testing for the upcoming Stars of Karting’s East vs West national Championships.

On Indy 500 race day, Sage will be a guest of Michael Andretti again as he views the race from Michael’s VIP suite. “I know an AGR driver is going to win, I just feel it,” replied the 13 year-old National Champion. “I’d like to thank the following people for making all of this happen, Michael Andretti, Stars of Karting, Raul Martinez of King Taco, John Martin of Carbonix, The Lobaugh Family of MRP Motorsports and especially Wally Brown of Brown Printing Services,” added Sage.

Sage’s dad will be in the AGR pits watching the 500. “I’m really happy for Sage to have the opportunity to experience such things at a young age. Unfortunately, he’s not old enough to watch the race from the pits, but, I don’t think he’ll be complaining from where he’ll be,” said Jody.

Sage has been finishing all of his races and has shown improvement. “I know that I am right there, and it won’t be long before I am winning in the JICA class,” said Sage.
